An Irish Legend

(written to go with the gift of a crystal bell)

The legend of the crystal bell
To those just newly wed
Will keep your home in harmony
No matter what is said

When troubled words between you rise
As happens now and then
Just stop and when the bell is rung
The fighting then must end

Enjoy your life together
But if trouble starts to swell
Don’t let it grow into a fight
Just stop and ring the bell!
